Climate Policy Radar is a non-profit organisation building open databases and research tools so people can discover and understand complex information, in particular long-text documents, on climate, nature and development. Our data and tools help governments, researchers, international organisations, civil society, and the private sector to understand and advance effective climate policies and deploy climate finance. Harnessing data science and AI, and pioneering the application of natural language processing to this domain, our work renders previously unstructured, siloed data more readable and accessible.

This resource includes the Coastal Carbon Atlas (global) and Blue Carbon Data Inventory (for the United States). It provides data on tidal wetlands worldwide, including ecosystem type, carbon stocks, and extent. The Smithsonian offers to work with countries on incorporating this data into NDCs where complete and pointing countries to other data sources should it not be complete to determine achievable targets.

The Agriculture and Land Use Greenhouse Gas Inventory (ALU) Software guides an inventory compiler through the process of estimating greenhouse gas emissions and removals related to agricultural and forestry activities. The software simplifies the process of conducting the inventory by dividing the inventory analysis into steps to facilitate the compilation of activity data, assignment of emission factors, and completion of the calculations. The software also has internal checks to ensure data integrity. Furthermore, the software program is designed to support an evaluation of mitigation potentials using the inventory data as a baseline for projecting emission trends associated with management alternatives.

Naturebase is an interactive platform that consolidates science-based data on nature's pathways to mitigate climate change, guiding the implementation of high-integrity nature-based projects for maximum carbon mitigation impact.

Restor is a global hub connecting restoration and conservation initiatives, offering ecological data, monitoring tools, and networking opportunities to empower local projects and promote ecosystem restoration.

PLANT assists countries in analyzing opportunities to enhance the forest sector's contribution to Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), focusing on emission reductions, carbon market access, and transparency under the Paris Agreement.

DaRT is an online platform facilitating the collection, management, and sharing of data related to Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs), enhancing transparency and reporting efficiency.

The Food, Environment, Land and Development (FELD) Action Tracker is a strategic initiative under the Food and Land Use (FOLU) Coalition, led by the UN Sustainable Solutions Network (SDSN). The Action Tracker is complementing other initiatives by the Coalition, dedicated to providing practical support to countries’ transformation of food and land use systems: It does so by systematically analysing national policies; by tracking the resulting implementation and other related actions; by identifying good practices to be shared on a dedicated platform; and by assessing specific impact and overall progress against national and global strategies and targets under the Paris Climate Agreement and the SDGs.
